This article explains how to create a new user and send a welcome email to grant Corpay Complete access.
To create a new user, you must have one of the following roles:
- admin_user
- application_admin
- po_admin (Legacy Corpay Complete Role)
- super_admin (Legacy Corpay Complete Role)
- system_admin
- universal_admin
- Log in to Corpay Complete.
- Click the Users module from the left-side navigation pane.
- On the Users tab, click + Add.
- Update the following information on the Add User page:
Note: This article will address each of the following fields but only update the fields that are relevant to you. Required fields are indicated with a red asterisk.
- First Name: Key in the user’s first name. This field is required.
- Last Name: Key in the user’s last name. This field is required.
- Email: Key in the user’s email address. This field is required and is used for logging into Corpay Complete.
Note: Organizations using a single sign-on (SSO) integration must have the Corpay Complete application added to their account. The user email in Corpay Complete must match the SSO integration account email.
- Phone: Key in the user’s phone number.
- Contact Title: Key in a contact title for the user.
- Employee Manager: Select the drop-down or start typing to enter the employee’s manager.
- Amount Approval: This field specifies the maximum amount that a user is authorized to approve, subject to their role. Key in an approval amount.
- Business Unit: Select the drop-down or start typing to enter a business unit.
- Location: Select the drop-down or start typing to enter a location.
- Policy: Select the drop-down or start typing to enter a policy.
- Birthday: The Corpay Support Team uses this field for identity verification purposes. Key in the user’s birthday in a MM/DD format.
- Last 4 of SSN: The Corpay Support Team uses this field for identity verification. Key in the last four digits of the user’s social security number.
- Department: Click + Add Department, then select the drop-down or start typing to enter a department. To add another department, click + Add Department again.
- Primary Contact Subsidiary: Select the drop-down or start typing to enter a primary contact subsidiary.
- Project: Select the drop-down or start typing to enter a project.
- Additional Contact Subsidiary: Click + Add Subsidiary, then select the drop-down or start typing to enter an additional contact subsidiary. To add another additional contact subsidiary, click + Add Subsidiary again.
- Currency Code: Select the drop-down and choose the user’s currency code.
- Default Currency Code: Select the drop-down and choose the user’s default currency code.
- Flag Not To Push: Check the Flag Not To Push checkbox if the user should not be pushed to your ERP system.
- Click Submit.
- A confirmation dialog will display, and you will be automatically redirected to the Users tab.
- Use the filter fields to locate the new user in the Users grid.
- Select the Bulk Action drop-down and click Send Welcome.
- A confirmation message will display, and the Welcome email will be sent to the designated user.
