The Receiving feature helps you to enter receiving details of items like laptops, manufacturing goods, or supplies against a purchase order in the platform. It can also be used to verify completion of professional services.
To create a receipt for items associated with a PO,
1. Open the "Receive Items" section of the mobile app. This will bring you directly to the receiving form.
2. Select the applicable receipt type: Item Receipt or Expense/services. This action will produce a receipt-specific form, so it's key to select the correct receipt type.
3. Select the purchase order number found in the packing slip or associated to the service. This will populate all the receivable items or services from the PO. You can adjust quantities as is necessary, as well as include an image of the packing slip if you are receiving items.
4. When you are done filling out the receipt form, click on the "Log Receipt" button at the bottom of the form screen.
Note: All logged receipts can be viewed under the Receipts List tab. Selecting a receipt from the list opens the receipt detail page and allows you to view details of the receipt and edit information.
You may also edit the information about the receipt or delete it as applicable from the list view as shown in the screenshot below. Select the receipt you want to take action against and swipe left to view the Edit and Delete options.
